Continuing on with my theme of linking back to my old posts… Today is Gingerbread Marshmallows. One of my very favorite things to make this time of year, and they make great gifts. Wrap them up with some hot chocolate mix and a nice mug, and it makes a nice little present for a coworker, or whoever. Perfect for Christmas time.
I usually make these around the same time as the Sponge Toffee, because they use similar equipment and ingredients.
There is a significant waiting period for the marshmallows to really set up and be marshmallows and not just marshmallow goo… so don’t decide to make these the day you intend to give them away as gifts… It won’t work out that well.
