Oh hey

Yikes, its been just under a year since I posted anything here…

Did you know that working full time, year round at a garden center is not conducive to writing about the things you are growing in your backyard? But it sure does give you access to some pretty cool plants and chances to learn way more.

Also having a sick family member and just general life going on in the background is not helpful to writing about the things growing. Honestly, it was all I could do to remember to water them at the end of most days.

That being said, I am going to try and write here more this year. I know I say that every year, but that is usually in January when I get all ambitious about the spring and summer that seem soooooo far away. This year, I feel like I have some realistic aspirations for this blog and gardening and just life in general.

I still have about 6 large freezer bags of tomatoes in my freezer. Last year was a great tomato year around here.

It is March and I am using every ounce of self control that I have to not start 78 tomato plants. But it is still early so we’ll see what ends up happening. 😉
