As soon as I started posting my old Christmas posts in this countdown, I knew I had to include this one. It was amazing. Infact, being reminded of it again, I may go buy a few pounds of apples just to make some this year. Because this year sure could use some dreamy spiced apple butter.

You don’t need to can it… Just make sure it is kept in the fridge. It probably won’t last long after anyone tastes it anyway, but use common sense and judgement.

Little jars of the Spiced Apple Butter make a great addition to a gift basket of homemade items.

Key items for making this recipe: Slow Cooker, and an Immersion Blender. You could make it work on the stove and with a mesh strainer, but it will be a lot more work.

Yet another delicious looking concoction from your blog… another one to try! (I think Hubby might have gotten me that immersion blender I want for Christmas so I’ll have to wait and see!!! haha)
